The reservation process was fairly easy, with the exception of the multiple calls with the wrong zip code, so the credit card was declining. The directions and key pick up and drop off were very easy.
Great things about the condo, location of course, labels for lighting, upgraded amenities.
I would recommend this condo be changed to a 6 person unit, unless changes can be made to truly accommodate 8 in all aspects. |

The sink in the kitchen is leaking and it's causing water to run down to the storage space below it. We showed this to someone from Beach Bum and we felt it would be good to mention it again in this message so it doesn't do any further damage. Also, the heater in the front of the building isn't capable of heating the back bedroom on nights below 40 degrees, which can make for some rather cold sleeping. Not terrible, but somewhat chilly. We appreciate the opportunity to have our dog stay in the property and we really liked the location. The courtyard is very nice and we found Beach Bum to be very responsive when there was maintenance work needed. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and would recommend Beach Bum to our family and friends. |

I didn't use your website, and didn't realize that you existed. I found my property through VRBO.com, and the owner referred me to you. After hearing from you via email, I was instructed to call you to complete the reservation. That part was difficult, as my job as a teacher makes it difficult to call during business hours. Once I called, the remainder of the process was completed easily via email. The property was wonderful, and fit our needs well. |

This was our first stay using Beach Bum. We are on a limited income and so the discount of 20% off made this vacation affordable and doable for us, especially as we were able to save from eating out as well. The accomodations were great! We brought friends with us and this unit was perfect for the 6 of us with enough space, close enough for our kids to walk to the beach without me worrying about them, and private quarters for the two couples.
The only recommendations I would have are: 1) be sure to list on your rental agreement off season hours as well as high season hours and also notify the call center of the difference. I called on Saturday to confirm the office hours and was told 10-3 on Sunday. We were planning to arrive just about 2:15 until we got the call about 30 minutes before we were to arrive, stating the office closed at 2pm. We were given the lock box code so everything worked out fine, but knowing the correct hours ahead of time would have been helpful. 2) Maybe extra batteries for remotes. 3) A few tupperware items in the kitchen.

I thought the the place was great with the exception of the items mentioned above. When you spend that kind of money you expect the beds to be better than a motel room. New beds and some of the kitchen utensils replaced and it would be a really great place to stay. |

1) I've never been able to get your Pismo webcam to work. Is that the same cam as at the Pismo Hotel?
2) Additional towel bars in the bathroom would be nice.
3) The frosted glass panels on the front door have been scraped more/less clean, so people could see inside, including the bed area.

I already completed a questionaire on Park St-however, I would be interested in houses that are for rent with reduced rates-retirement income continues to not go as far. However, I have women friends would would spend a few nites at the Central Coast if we could find a great price-we don't have to go on weekends and we don't have to go on holidays-but clean, well kept and price are important to us. |

Accommodations were great.
Minor notes: The window shades were pretty dark and the blinds on patio door were not user friendly... if shades were open, door would not open.
Nose making machines in bedrooms were great, with the windows or patio door open the Custom House creates a bit of noise both AM & PM. |

Everything was exactly as described, plus some extras that might have been mentioned, but I didn't think important till I got there! ie: iron and ironing board, blow dryer, enough laundry detergent for the first load... That was a huge plus! We were really drawn to this property because of the "cute factor" and the photos showed it very well. We will probably consider this property again- if we don't have so many adults that want to shower so much. The number of bathrooms was the ONLY drawback for us, but not any fault of yours. |

We rented this same property last year, in August of 2010. At that time, there was wireless internet access available in the apartment. We were very disappointed to discover that wireless internet access was not available for our stay this summer, 2011. This property is a very attractive property and it suits our needs well, however, we would not rent this property again based on the lack of wireless internet access.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Besides the issue with the shower handle, everything else with the townhouse was wonderful. I am sure you have heard feedback from others on the noise from the back porch area, having the back face a garbage disposal area that is used at all hours was a bit frustrating. This house is just so lovely! The back yard was beautiful- just great. So private, too. The upgrades throughout were very nice. We even met the neighbors and they were sweet as well. We were very happy to have access to the garage - where our dog slept at pm.

The condo was a lot nicer in person than in the photos. However, I guess I missed the fact that it doesn't have a dining room table. We were able to eat at the bar and at the coffee table so it was no big deal. We loved how quiet the condo was. We couldn't hear the street noise from the PCH or neighbors. We did hear a leaf blower at 10:00 am on Saturday though. I wasn't asleep but my husband was and it woke him up. Maybe do yard maintenance during the week instead of on weekends? Everything was great though. Staff was extra helpful and nice to deal with. I would definitely recommend Beach Bum to friends :) |

- a check-out procedure guide (we didn't know what we were and weren't allowed to leave in the apartment. Our expectations were very low, but we were pleasantly surprised at the rental. Nice work in getting things together. There were a few items that were not working and the carpet was stained in the room above the garage (which we called on), but these are relatively small details. We liked the condo very much, especially the location. Your cleaning service deserves kudos-they did a very good job. We live in a single level home so all the stairs were a little challenging but were, of course, probably good exercise for us! The binder in the condo was very helpful for restaurants, TV info, etc. One other helpful thing would have been a map of some type, especially of Pismo Beach and freeway info. |

I can't say enough good things about the thoughtfulness of the entire staff. i was renting to be in Pismo Beach during the last weeks of my mother's life. The place was comfortable and convenient, making a difficult time much easier. The women in the front office all helped me out at various times. The property was extremely comfortable and lovely. We had a wonderful time and the location was fantastic. Just a couple of things, the fire pit's propane tank was rusted so we couldn't enjoy it and a couple of the light bulbs need to be replaced.
