7/30/2010	First, this is a nice place, with many extra small touches to make one feel at home. Good value for the cost. Replace living room seating-TODAY! Add some kind of permanent night light to top of stairway on top floor near bathroon door. 2 people fell there, including one child who fell all the way down (he's ok). I'm not sure if anything can be done about near-white carpeting on stairs, with freshly-treated asphalt outside, but what's there now doesn't work. I also didn't care for being asked to squeege bathroom surfaces each time we use the shower, although we did do that. Consider a salt-free water softener if buildup on shower doors is that much of a problem, or bring in a maid. All in all, a nice place. I'll use Beach Bum again, but not this particular place.

7/29/2010	The only thing was when we got to the condo someone had watered and the water was standing and the door mat was soaked in standing water and we did not realize until we had tracked it inside. 7/28/2010	great stay - everything was nice. we bought a table to use at the front entrance for our guest/buffet (it was nice to be able to host our relative - 15 people) and we took the table with us. the only thing that you might want to add is a couple of hooks in the bathroom for robes, clothes, etc. and a larger table at the front entry ( we moved the nice small table that was there so that it didn't get damaged) and a couple of outdoor chairs would have been nice. We really enjoyed the bbq and were glad that there were extra chairs for seating. We used them outside, but really would have like some outdoor furniture. But everything was great ...thank you. oh, and you might want to put the bed in the 2nd bedroom diagional in the corner so that you could open the door and my husband could get to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but that's a small matter... really, it was fine.! thanks - it was a really nice stay. a nice property. thanks you.

5/11/2009	We found the house to be very comfortable and well-laid out for our large party (5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 5). One thing we did upon arriving was immediately put the model boats, small tchotkes, and glass floats up somewhere HIGH, so the kids wouldn't get into them. The broad assortment of kid-friendly DVDs was great, especially as we'd just evacuated and didn't think to bring a lot of stuff like that with us. I would have liked access to a small cleaning kit -- windex, multi-surface cleaner -- to keep the bathrooms more tidy while visiting. Again, we were there for such a short time (2 nights) that it didn't make sense for us to go out to buy that stuff, but it would have been convenient, especially with small kids. All in all, had a good time, and enjoyed the area.

5/10/2009	This was a very nice unit in an excellent location in Pismo Beach. It was convenient to everything, was very clean and in overall good condition. The description for the unit however should mention the number of steep stairs at the unit; We asked about this prior to our occupancy because we had an elderly family member in our group. Since the bedrooms were on the top floor, this was a bit of an issue for our relative. Had we known this in advance, we would have likely selected another unit. The "family room" area is also a bit small and was not optimally comfortable for any group larger than 4 people. Overall good experience, however. The staff at Beach Bum were friendly and helpful. Thanks!

3/29/2009	The owner Donna was very friendly and pleasant...went out of her way to get wireless internet for me so I would not go crazy! Would def8nitely stay there again. I would suggest to reexamine the cleaning fee...I believe a little excessive in price...there is no carpet to clean and only two rooms and a bath...I expect such a charge for a full apartment or house but there is not much to cleaning this space.

2/15/2009	When we visit again we will chose a different location. It was very beautiful and the location near the ocean was wonderful, but the difficulty is the restaurant directly behind our location. Food delivery, noise from the workers, and the screeching of the gulls looking for food in the garbage bin just out the window kept family awake into the late/early hours. Perhaps the location on the east side of the property would be better for us. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
2/14/2009	This rental was very enjoyable and had all the amenities we needed for our family. I do not want to share the good information with too many people or Avila Beach will become overcrowded. I have been meaning to contact the office but have been battling an illness since returning home about a month ago. We may have left a board game )Trivial Pursuit)and a brand new bike helmet (kids) at the rental. If someone from the management company could check into this I would appreciate it. I would of course pay for any shipping if my items are found. Also, was my security deposit credited? Could you send confirmation of this? Thanks. I didn't reserve on-line because I wanted to talk to someone and needed more details about the property. We enjoyed the welcome bag with the hot chocolate, sugar, etc. I also appreciated the courtesy call to check to see if everything was okay. I've rented from other agencies in the area, but am most impressed with Beach Bum. I like the name too!

10/14/2008	I think describing it as a 3 bedroom is not quite accurate. I assume the 3rd bedroom is the lowest level with the pullout couch? Not much privacy there. What sold me on this condo vs. the others on Ocean View was the living area as shown by the website photos. Very comfortable looking and it was. We could hang out and watch TV on the two full sofas. Just great. The front door lock is a bit funky but we managed. Janet was awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

The front door lock ought to be changed---It does work---but pretty scarey & very non standard. We had a great time & the place was very nice & well located for our use. 9/4/2008	This is a beautiful unit and nicely located. The only complaint is that the mornings (as early as 5:30) are very noisy, with deliveries to the restaurant next door. Open windows to catch the ocean breeze meant early mornings with the noise. I would have to think hard before renting this beautiful unit again.

8/26/2008	We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was nice to see the owner upgrading the TV in the living Room to a flat screen with a new DVD player! Smart idea. The only suggestion I would give is to have a manual at the property that tells you how to operate things like the hottub and gas fireplace. Like I said before my husband, children, and myself had a wonderful time, and plan on returning next year.

8/21/2008	I loved the condo. It was beautiful, and super clean. My only suggestion is to add a couple of throw rugs, especially next to the beds. The tile is great for a beach rental, but it can get a little chilly on bare feet in the morning and evening. One of my favorite features was the filtered water faucet in the kitchen and the bathroom upstairs. All the comforts of your own luxury home. FANTASTIC!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

One night, they used their generater until 2:30am....we had plently of power? The Property is Beautiful, such a warm, comfortable feeling - like home. 8/12/2008	This is a beautiful property. The kitchen counters were an inconvenience because of the caution we had to endure to protect the finish. Cement counters are a terrible surface for a rental property. We have granite at home and are accustomed to taking care of a stone surface. The porous nature of cement is totally vulnerable to normal use. This was a hinder to the relaxation we were hoping to experience at the beach. We were paranoid that we would damage the surface. It may be beautiful in the designers eyes, but not practical what so ever.

7/23/2008	The noise level on the bedroom side is unacceptable. Since the two smaller bedrooms share the alley with the restaurant and bar, there was noise throughout the night as people were depositing garbage in the bins and then in the morning, when the places were opening up. If you sleep with open windows (which everyone does at the beach) you are interrupted regularly by this noise. I think if we were to come back, we would get a unit on the flip side of the complex.

We were very pleased to arrive and find the accomodations to be just as we had expected...even better. The property was very clean and had every necessary amenity needed for a family vacation at the beach. We loved it so much we are returning in another month to rent the same property as well as an ajoining one with family! Thank you to your staff also for a very easy and quick reservation process. We were in and out without any problems and appreciated the ease of checking in and out! We will recommend these properties to all our friends and family!

7/23/2008	Not really, a great set of condos, not to get too picky but a water softener or something....a squeegie for the shower... I felt bad that I could already see the hard water spots in the kitchen sink and shower after only a few days. That would be my only suggestion.....
7/23/2008	Your service was excellent! Other prop. mgt. co.'s have wider selection of properties. Also, I got teased with internet access. The modem was still there from the last client I was still getting a signal from Charter Communications when we arrived. It was shut off the next day. When I called about it being shut off I was told that the property didn't include internet access as an amenity and that the equipment was still there from the last renter. That was a little disappointing. Who likes getting teased?

Everyone I emailed or spoke to was very prompt getting back to me. They were very polite and courteous and answered all of my questions. I would definitely use Beach Bum Holiday Rentals again. Since I was born and raised in the Pismo Beach area, I was already familiar with the area. Thanks again for making our stay a pleasant one.
7/7/2008	Only 2 suggestions: We were there for that freakishly hot weekend in June and although the condo did stay relatively cool it would have been nice to have had a fan available just to circulate the air. We would suggest somehow lowering the bed 6-8 inches, for someone who has no use of their legs it is a bit hard to get up that high from a wheelchair onto the bed. (I know Marcia is reluctant to do this because it's such a nice bed, maybe a thinner box spring?) Marcia and Tony are always so gracious and helpful and we truly appreciate that.
7/7/2008	I hope with this past experience of being "hot" very, that you may ask the owners to have portable fans available. At night,11:00pm it was 87 upstairs. Very uncomfortable. I would suggest large fans for each room. Bedrooms,kitchen,living room,ect. I know that the heat maybe once or twice,but still have the fans to circulate the air. We did have the one fan in the family room,which helped. It was a ceiling fan. Having ceiling fans would be the ideal situation. They ould be much more helpful than the portable ones. 6/18/2008	Sorry we did not know about the useage on the roof. We did not know about the local politics regarding the roof area. It is beautiful up there on a perfect day, and we couldn't stay inside! We had some family over that was staying in the Lighthouse Suites, and they enjoyed the view too. Also, we had a hard time finding exactly where to put the trash. The directions in the book were not that clear.Everything else was great! Hope to return soon.

The only very slight negative was the gate remote was not provided in the envelope with the house keys so we had to spend about 30 mins figuring it out and getting the access code. 5/24/2008	We had a wonderful time with my 83 yr. old parents. When I returned the keys I did mention the confusion on the parking. I didn't realize the property was gated, therefore it was difficult to find at 11 at night! Once we got in I thought the remote was for the 1 car garage, which wouldn't open. Found out the next day there is no garage with the property and only a parking space under the carport. The 4 spaces were all taken, and when housekeeping brought the coffee pot, they also brought a parking pass. I think the parking situation along with a parking pass is important to have in the information when you pick up the key. Other than that.....we had a fabulous time! 5/23/2008	Property was pricey, but good location. I had disappointed travelers that wanted to watch some of the NBA playoffs and there was no cable. Your neighbor La Fonda has a great Costco rate - but your place worked well for our family of 4. Often when we stay at La Fonda there are 2 or 3 of us. Master bed was very comfortable and it was great having a washer and dryer. We have stayed in Avilla 5 times in the past year - we have a student at Cal Poly. 5/10/2008	This was our first condo experience--it was quite pleasant! Suggest at least one hook be installed on the inside of bath door downstairs. The lamp/bulb was missing inside the refrigerator(not a big deal when the kit.overhead light was on. Recommend replacing the corroded alum. ice trays with sectioned plastic ones. Our family guests were favorably impressed with the accomodations--THANKS!
5/7/2008	VERY difficult to use the "code" for the front gate. In fact, 4 of us couldn't get it to work. Found a way around it to let our visitors in. We had a large wedding party going and coming. Because there is no cell service for Verizon customers in the Avila complex..it was difficult to have guests contact us to open the gate. Also, the back bedrooms faced the Custom House, their garbage cans etc. The workers at the custom house were loud until after midnight,and earley in the morning. When we come again....and I know we will, we will rent a "front" unit.

They never returned my calls to make a reservation...and when we actually went there to see what was going on...The horses were NOT taken care of properly (I have horses) and when I asked for assistance the older man(possible owner) that I spoke to was so rude to us and totally disrespected us, didn't give a sh** about anything except to make money off his horses and the already scheduled customer's.. I will be sending them a e-mail as well!!! **** GREAT time on the hummer ride**** Larry and his wife were awesome and we shared our experience to everyone we met in town that was visiting and told them they had to do it!!!! They were great genuine bussiness owners!!! We especially liked being close to the beach, since we had young children, it made it easy to just walk to the beach with our gear! We also liked the idea we could walk to the pier, and downtown for shopping. We all said this was a very relaxing vacation and would come back again, especially to these condos. Pricing was very reasonable and we also liked the idea we did not have to spend alot of money eating out.

It was not clear from website that dining table was a raised height and it was a little difficult for our small children although manageable. 8/29/2007	Everything was wonderful! But if I had to comment on anything, it would be that you should tailor your "starter" items according to how many people you know will be staying in each unit. The only starter item I would comment about is the soap. We had 5 people staying there, and there was only one tiny bar of soap in the downstairs bathroom. It would have been nice, initially, to have had another bar or two, as several of us wanted to shower soon after we arrived. (We ended up using the liquid soap, which was o.k.) Other than that, it was a beautiful townhouse, with a beautiful view, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

8/29/2007	everything was wonderful. we had a wonderful time and reaally enjoyed the condo. my only suggestion is the tile courtyard. i saw people clean it but it seemed to make our feet dirty and we were tracking it in on the carpeting. no one in our group left their shoes on in the condo , we stacked them in the entry, but still the carpet seemed to pick up dirt. this is not a complaint but the condo was so nice and we wanted to take care of it. hope we can rent it again next year. when will the reservations be open? sue clinesmith

My oldest son hauled ALL the cans that had garbage out to the curb. We would do this again, but try to find a ground floor property (took my Mother and she has bad ankles, so climbing the steps were a little difficult)--BUT--if not available, we enjoyed the location and we would stay at this property again.

8/15/2007	I was very happy with Beach Bum Holiday Rentals. In the past we rented the condo two doors down from a different company and this rental was by far much cleaner and nicer. Your staff is also very friendly and called the day before just to see when we might be arriving. They also called after we arrived to see how things were going. We used the other company twice and they never called before, during or after. The only complaint I had is with the owners and their friends calling your company to complain that there were rugs hanging over the balcony. Your company called asking if there had been a water leak or flood in the kitchen or something to that effect. We were actually vacuuming the carpets and my mom hung the rugs out to get them out of the way and shake out the sand. Don't you think we would have called if the kitchen flooded? I just think they overreacted to a couple of rugs hanging on the balcony. How many people actually vacuum the carpets when they're on vacation? Other than that, we were very pleased and will definitely use your company again.

I already told the office that the only thing that was broken was the cord in the master bedroom blind for raising and lowering the blind. As a suggestion, we found that with cell phone reception very difficult and not being able to make outgoing credit card calls it was a little difficult to communicate with those that we needed to. 	Would recommend more detailed explanation of the property and facilities (i.e. floor plan size, whether it had TV/VCR/radio, anything & everything), which would make it easier for us to figure out what to bring.

	This was a very nice place with lots of very nice amenities and a very decent view. We enjoyed it very much. It was nice of your group to look for a DSL cord for us, although it, unfortunately did not work. The only downside is the motorcycle noise and the neighbor above who is a bit noisy late into the night and early morning.
	Will be returning Pismo Dec 26 thru Dec 30, 2006, Please let me know what is available for a party of 8 adults.
	We loved the location and enjoyed having a Bar B Que in the good sized yard!
	We had a great time and the place was just as described. The only thing we had a problem with was finding the garbage cans outside - we did finally find them, but I would suggest on the garbage instructions on the refrigerator to put location of cans and which ones you should use - none of them were marked with the address so we weren't sure which one to use so we just picked one. Thanks for a great stay and if we come back to PB we will be using you again.
	I really enjoyed the rental. It was easy, better than a hotel. Even though I was unable to rent the rental I wanted, they accommodated me very well. I was very pleased with the rental. 	The facade of the condo building is so decieving! Me and my bachelorette group were so pleasantly suprised and excited to see how truly cute the beach house was! We couldn't get over the fact that every little detail was thought of: board games, beach towels, a welcome packet, such CUTE decor, clean sheets, extra sheets, blankets... For the first hour or so, we were all just so giddy at how homey and comfortable the rental felt:) There was so much room to spread out, the beds were incredible and we all loved the fact that there were so many mirrors and storage areas! We were thinking of having a bonfire that weekend but it was super chilly and the fireplace that came with the rental was so perfect! We totally enjoyed hanging out by the fire and catching up! My bachelorette weekend was made even more special because of the amazing place that we stayed at! Thank you so much!!

	My family loved the big screen TV in the living room. It was very convenient to the beach and dining. We enjoyed the two balconies and being able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. We would definitely consider staying her again. Another suggestion would be to have a larger lamp bedside in the master with the balcony, so that you have good lighting for reading at night.
	Possibly the only thing I would have like to have had would be an iron, but not totally necessary. We commented quite a few times how much we enjoyed our stay and when we move to the coast in the near future we will be recommending this condo.
	You should tell people that this unit is next to Rosa's parking lot. It did get a bit noisy.

	This is our third year at this address and we are very pleased. We have booked for next year already.
	My sister and I rented "side-by-side" apartments at 394 and 396 Dolliver. We usually rent a large house for the 10-12 of us. It may have been explained, but I didn't get it that there were two flights of stairs in between the apartments. It didn't really lend itself to our visiting back and forth in the two units and my 75 yr old mother couldn't manage the two flights of stairs! That part was disappointing. It would have been soo handy had we just had to walk around the corner to play games.
	I would like to say that I love your website. I love how you can see all the propertys before you rent them, and how your rates are very low. I would also like to say (Katie) is very helpfull to.

	Really enjoyed our experience at the condo. Had a family with children there and appreciated the child friendly accomodations and touches. Really liked the ease of the website and the availability calendar. Great job. Easy to access the key when we arrived at night in Pismo. 	My only suggestion would be to allow digital signatures on the rental contract. This would make it much easier to simply email the contract back-and-forth, rather than going through the hassle of printing it off an email client, signing it, and locating a fax machine to fax it back to the rental office. For those of us who don't work in an office setting, locating a fax can be an unnecessary pain.

	We loved this property it was so nice and very close to the beach. We had a couple of problems There were 3 couples at this property and we were giving one garage opener. If I was told it was a parking garage I would of asked for more than one opener. I assumed it was a garage attached to the condo. It made it difficult for us to leave at seperate times. The other issue was no one gave us a code to get in the side gates. We thought that was what the second key was for. When we first got there on Friday we all took a walk on the beach and had no way to get in. We had to wait for someone to let us in. On Saturday Nancy gave us the code, and it worked great. Other then those two things the trip and the rental was fabulous. Thank you so much.
	Our experience there was very enjoyable and comfortable, our expectations were running high before we checked in, not knowing what to expect. We were very pleased as to what was most satisfying to know how easy and pleasant ou stay was there compaired to an hotel stay and one room. 	the site of the house is fabulous~how can you go wrong??? everything was in place....good job! one fact you might want to let your customers know is that the loft area is for short people or for children. the doors and cabinets are low, as was the toilet! it worked out fine for our group, but some others might not be such a happy, fun loving group that just loved being together and NOTHING was going to get in our way! thanks so much~ kindest regards, terri
	We loved the house and I would like to rent it again for about 2 weeks so my kids and grandkids can come over when they have time.
	Everything was easy and ready for us upon our arrivial. The condo was fully stocked for any emergencies or forgotten items.

	We aren't sure what made us the happiest. Was it the superb property with its super-clean interior, its well-stocked kitchen and its beautiful decor? Was it your solution-oriented customer service which was given freely and pro-actively when there was an unforseen plumbing emergency with our original condo choice (170 Park)? Your representative called me as soon as you knew there would be a conflict and not only offered ideas for finding us a substitute place to stay but also kindly gave us a free weekend next year! I felt well taken care of. Was it the granting of a late check out on our day of leaving? That was wonderful to have 2 extra hours that morning to pack up and hand wash our breakfast dishes. So we can't really say what made us the happiest, because all these things as well as so many others made us the grateful and satisfied customers we are. I talk with a lot of people each day where I work (Nordstrom) and I will be recommending Beach Bum to plenty of my customers! Thank you for exceeding our expectations! You're great! P.S. 	I did not stay in the condos myself. I had arranged for the condos to house artists who participated in the SLO I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival. The artists expressed that they were very happy with the accommodations
	We had a wonderful experience. The home was beautiful. We were all very comfortable. Katie was very helpful through the whole experience. I have many people I have given your name to in order to book the same house and we had visitors to the house (we had a wedding at the Cliff's Resort). Many people want to book it.
	We really enjoyed our stay in Pismo Beach. The house was lovely. It was a shame about the foggy mornings and strong sea breeze. We left a day early because of this and returned to LA for some sun!
	The condo was VERY clean and I loved that. Having alot of towels made it nice to, because you didn't have to wash everyday. We would definately stay again.
