The facade of the condo building is so decieving! Me and my bachelorette group were so pleasantly suprised and excited to see how truly cute the beach house was! We couldn't get over the fact that every little detail was thought of: board games, beach towels, a welcome packet, such CUTE decor, clean sheets, extra sheets, blankets... For the first hour or so, we were all just so giddy at how homey and comfortable the rental felt:) There was so much room to spread out, the beds were incredible and we all loved the fact that there were so many mirrors and storage areas! We were thinking of having a bonfire that weekend but it was super chilly and the fireplace that came with the rental was so perfect! We totally enjoyed hanging out by the fire and catching up! My bachelorette weekend was made even more special because of the amazing place that we stayed at! Thank you so much!!

My family loved the big screen TV in the living room. It was very convenient to the beach and dining. We enjoyed the two balconies and being able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. We would definitely consider staying her again. Another suggestion would be to have a larger lamp bedside in the master with the balcony, so that you have good lighting for reading at night.

We loved the location and enjoyed having a Bar B Que in the good sized yard!

You should tell people that this unit is next to Rosa's parking lot. It did get a bit noisy.

This was our second experience with BeachBum and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. We are planning another trip in November.

My sister and I rented "side-by-side" apartments at 394 and 396 Dolliver. We usually rent a large house for the 10-12 of us. It may have been explained, but I didn't get it that there were two flights of stairs in between the apartments. It didn't really lend itself to our visiting back and forth in the two units and my 75 yr old mother couldn't manage the two flights of stairs! That part was disappointing. It would have been soo handy had we just had to walk around the corner to play games.

We had a great time at you rental. We will be recommending it to our friends.

Would recommend more detailed explanation of the property and facilities (i.e. floor plan size, whether it had TV/VCR/radio, anything & everything), which would make it easier for us to figure out what to bring.

This was a very nice place with lots of very nice amenities and a very decent view. We enjoyed it very much. It was nice of your group to look for a DSL cord for us, although it, unfortunately did not work. The only downside is the motorcycle noise and the neighbor above who is a bit noisy late into the night and early morning.

We had a great time and the place was just as described. The only thing we had a problem with was finding the garbage cans outside - we did finally find them, but I would suggest on the garbage instructions on the refrigerator to put location of cans and which ones you should use - none of them were marked with the address so we weren't sure which one to use so we just picked one. Thanks for a great stay and if we come back to PB we will be using you again.

I really enjoyed the rental. It was easy, better than a hotel. Even though I was unable to rent the rental I wanted, they accommodated me very well. I was very pleased with the rental. Everything was wonderful and the location for our daughter's graduation was great! I already told the office that the only thing that was broken was the cord in the master bedroom blind for raising and lowering the blind. As a suggestion, we found that with cell phone reception very difficult and not being able to make outgoing credit card calls it was a little difficult to communicate with those that we needed to. It would be helpful to at least post a note somewhere telling the phone limitations. Again, thank you for such a beautifully decorated condo - we appreciated all the amemities! Nancy Doran

Everything was easy and ready for us upon our arrivial. The condo was fully stocked for any emergencies or forgotten items.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pismo Beach. The house was lovely. It was a shame about the foggy mornings and strong sea breeze. We left a day early because of this and returned to LA for some sun!

We had a wonderful experience. The home was beautiful. We were all very comfortable. Katie was very helpful through the whole experience. I have many people I have given your name to in order to book the same house and we had visitors to the house (we had a wedding at the Cliff's Resort). Many people want to book it.

I did not stay in the condos myself. I had arranged for the condos to house artists who participated in the SLO I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival. The artists expressed that they were very happy with the accommodations

We aren't sure what made us the happiest. Was it the superb property with its super-clean interior, its well-stocked kitchen and its beautiful decor? Was it your solution-oriented customer service which was given freely and pro-actively when there was an unforseen plumbing emergency with our original condo choice (170 Park)? Your representative called me as soon as you knew there would be a conflict and not only offered ideas for finding us a substitute place to stay but also kindly gave us a free weekend next year! I felt well taken care of. Was it the granting of a late check out on our day of leaving? That was wonderful to have 2 extra hours that morning to pack up and hand wash our breakfast dishes. So we can't really say what made us the happiest, because all these things as well as so many others made us the grateful and satisfied customers we are. I talk with a lot of people each day where I work (Nordstrom) and I will be recommending Beach Bum to plenty of my customers! Thank you for exceeding our expectations! You're great! P.S. the site of the house is fabulous~how can you go wrong??? everything was in place....good job! one fact you might want to let your customers know is that the loft area is for short people or for children. the doors and cabinets are low, as was the toilet! it worked out fine for our group, but some others might not be such a happy, fun loving group that just loved being together and NOTHING was going to get in our way! thanks so much~ kindest regards, terri

Possibly the only thing I would have like to have had would be an iron, but not totally necessary. We commented quite a few times how much we enjoyed our stay and when we move to the coast in the near future we will be recommending this condo.

We loved the house and I would like to rent it again for about 2 weeks so my kids and grandkids can come over when they have time.

The condo was VERY clean and I loved that. Having alot of towels made it nice to, because you didn't have to wash everyday. We would definately stay again.

This is a lovely property with a fantastic view. The fenced backyard is nice. The side yard was lovely. The porch with rocking chairs is very nice. Dry rot of some of the wood was noticed. The home was very cozy and nice and we enjoyed our time there. Thank you for the use of this property.

Our experience there was very enjoyable and comfortable, our expectations were running high before we checked in, not knowing what to expect. We were very pleased as to what was most satisfying to know how easy and pleasant ou stay was there compaired to an hotel stay and one room. We loved this property it was so nice and very close to the beach. We had a couple of problems There were 3 couples at this property and we were giving one garage opener. If I was told it was a parking garage I would of asked for more than one opener. I assumed it was a garage attached to the condo. It made it difficult for us to leave at seperate times. The other issue was no one gave us a code to get in the side gates. We thought that was what the second key was for. When we first got there on Friday we all took a walk on the beach and had no way to get in. We had to wait for someone to let us in. On Saturday Nancy gave us the code, and it worked great. Other then those two things the trip and the rental was fabulous. Thank you so much.

My only suggestion would be to allow digital signatures on the rental contract. This would make it much easier to simply email the contract back-and-forth, rather than going through the hassle of printing it off an email client, signing it, and locating a fax machine to fax it back to the rental office. For those of us who don't work in an office setting, locating a fax can be an unnecessary pain.

Really enjoyed our experience at the condo. Had a family with children there and appreciated the child friendly accomodations and touches. Really liked the ease of the website and the availability calendar. Great job. Easy to access the key when we arrived at night in Pismo. We definitely will rent again when we return to the central coast to visit family! Thanks so much for the great experience.

We absolutely loved the set up - in fact i think the apartment is one of the best designed units i have seen in a long time - the loft could be set up differently to make it a bit more usable but downstairs is perfect. We will be back

We're disappointed that we weren't given first chance at renting the same place we got this year. We think that we should have been given first choice on it unless it was the owners. It was rented for next year right from under us while we were still there and we wanted to rent it for next year. We recommend that the current renters be given the first choice/chance before checking out. When we went to check out, we found out that it was already rented for next year to someone else. If there were problems with us renting please let us know. Thanks.

The accomodations and booking experience was very satisfactory. Your staff was great and the rental was great also. Again the comments I made about minor repairs were just FYI, as I know that I would want to address any noticed items if brought to my attention. Again nothing major was in need of attention therefore it didn't cause any inconveineces to our stay. We slept up in the loft and there were no blinds or window coverings so it made it a little difficult to sleep. But I think the owner said he had that on his list of things to do. The loft window was also pretty low and little kids can easily lean on the screen if the window was open and fall out...thought that was a little dangerous. Thanks. Bien

The condo was great, but I would suggest mentioning the fact that the stairs to the loft are spiral not a regular starcase. We had small children and a pregant woman who had a hard time going up. We worked it out but it was a surprise

I actually already filled one of these questionaires out but we did have a wonderful stay and the only things that I would improve would be perhaps a lock box for the key rather than driving to Pismo Beach. Luckily we arranged ahead of time to give the key to the cleaning couple or it would have been awful to go back to Pismo Beach on the Car Show weekend! I was very happy with my experience with your company. The reservation system online was easy to use.

We really loved the property and Avilla Beach was great. Unfortunately, the property was back-to-back with a restaurant. Lots of noise at night, and again early morning prior to breakfast. Next time, we'll pick a unit across the courtyard.

The only problems we had were some parking issues and the broken coffee pot, both problems were solved without haste and made for a great stay. Thanks again, see you next year.

We spoke directly with your office as we needed accomodations for our dog as well. Hannah travels well, does not shed, is small and quiet so we like to travel with her. The website said no pets so we pursued and found out we could bring her. We appreciated that. She enjoyed her vacation as did we.

Noise from 101 was unsettling - I'm not too sensitive so it didn't bother me, but you might consider restringing coaxial cable from TV so the window facing the highway can be fully closed rather than remaining cracked open a half-inch. That should actually make a pretty significant difference (I'm an acoustical consultant). Also, I had trouble making my reservation through the website so I had to do it by phone. Overall, a good experience, and an excellent value.

That was one of the best places I have ever rented. I loved it! the only thing that I had wished was that there were more tvs with more cable. but other than that it was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrific property! We were overjoyed at how nice it was.

I was very happy with Beach Bum Holiday Rentals. In the past we rented the condo two doors down from a different company and this rental was by far much cleaner and nicer. Your staff is also very friendly and called the day before just to see when we might be arriving. They also called after we arrived to see how things were going. We used the other company twice and they never called before, during or after. The only complaint I had is with the owners and their friends calling your company to complain that there were rugs hanging over the balcony. Your company called asking if there had been a water leak or flood in the kitchen or something to that effect. We were actually vacuuming the carpets and my mom hung the rugs out to get them out of the way and shake out the sand. Don't you think we would have called if the kitchen flooded? I just think they overreacted to a couple of rugs hanging on the balcony. How many people actually vacuum the carpets when they're on vacation? Other than that, we were very pleased and will definitely use your company again.

there was a notice about putting out the garbage cans, but they were not identified as belonging to the specific properties. My oldest son hauled ALL the cans that had garbage out to the curb. We would do this again, but try to find a ground floor property (took my Mother and she has bad ankles, so climbing the steps were a little difficult)--BUT--if not available, we enjoyed the location and we would stay at this property again.

We have stayed at this unit numerous times in the past several years. It was managed by another company then. It is WAY cleaner and nicer than all the previous years we've stayed there. I'm glad we found it again and especially glad Beach Bum is managing it now!

We have dealt with Beach Bum several times. Thank you for your kindness and making our trips enjoyable. We have rented from other property managements in the past and they do not compare to you. Everything just flows so smooth, from the on line reservation to returning the keys. Only wish that you have more 1 bedroom condos available in Pismo, so when we come without the family we have somewhere to stay. Thanks again.

Everything was wonderful! But if I had to comment on anything, it would be that you should tailor your "starter" items according to how many people you know will be staying in each unit. The only starter item I would comment about is the soap. We had 5 people staying there, and there was only one tiny bar of soap in the downstairs bathroom. It would have been nice, initially, to have had another bar or two, as several of us wanted to shower soon after we arrived. (We ended up using the liquid soap, which was o.k.) Other than that, it was a beautiful townhouse, with a beautiful view, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

everything was wonderful. we had a wonderful time and reaally enjoyed the condo. my only suggestion is the tile courtyard. i saw people clean it but it seemed to make our feet dirty and we were tracking it in on the carpeting. no one in our group left their shoes on in the condo , we stacked them in the entry, but still the carpet seemed to pick up dirt. this is not a complaint but the condo was so nice and we wanted to take care of it. hope we can rent it again next year. when will the reservations be open? sue clinesmith

My friends and I loved staying at the condo! Great location for a Central Coast vacation and much more enjoyable than staying at a hotel. Will definitely recommend to others and would stay there again if given the chance! I would maybe recommend giving the occupants a list of all the amenities at their disposal. We found out on the last night that there was a video game console in the kid's room. Would have been great to know it was there... =)

Jay and I loved staying there. It was quite convenient and met our needs. Other than the few suggestions said above, everything was great!

Clear directions on where to deposit trash would have been helpful. Unit 65 needs front window coverings. It was not clear from website that dining table was a raised height and it was a little difficult for our small children although manageable. Otherwise the unit was well furnished, very clean, comfortable...we plan to be back!!

We loved our stay and we plan on coming back again. It was actually better than some of the more expensive vacations we've taken. The place was beautiful and the beach so close was great. We visited many small places surrounding. Thank you.

The condo was great; good floor plan, very nicely decorated, a very relaxed, holiday atmoshpere. Nice having lots of windows for natural daylight, and of course just a short walk to the beach.

I thought the condo was great. It suited our needs perfectly and I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the condos (154 and 157-3 Oceanview) was great. The accomidatations were, clean, spacious, met our bedding requirements. We especially liked being close to the beach, since we had young children, it made it easy to just walk to the beach with our gear! We also liked the idea we could walk to the pier, and downtown for shopping. We all said this was a very relaxing vacation and would come back again, especially to these condos. Pricing was very reasonable and we also liked the idea we did not have to spend alot of money eating out.

The view from the house was spectacular and we did enjoy our stay, but the things mentioned above will certainly make me ask a lot of pertinent questions before renting from you again. It would also be very nice if you would provide a few fire logs. p.s. The back door (to the landing) actually fell off when it was opened! One of the pins was on the landing. I think perhaps the hinges were installed upside down.

It would be helpful to receive a map and instructions for the parking garage with keys & remote - we were able to locate condo but didn't realize that garage entrance was on another street. Otherwise we had a great time!

It's a very nice unit and we enjoyed it. The biggest downfall is having only one TV. We would consider another unit that has TV's in the bedrooms next time even though we really liked this unit. In the one bedroom without the bathroom I would recommend that night shades be put on the slide door because it is very bright in the room at night. I would also like it if the living room exit door had a curtain or a blind on it.

Love the private roof top patio and Spa! Location is noisy but I got used to it after a few days, so no problem. Convenient location.

A hair dryer would've been great as we all forgot to bring one. Otherwise, we enjoyed the property and Pismo Beach immensely!

I did have some confusion about the trash cans. The ones that were there became absorbed into the batch with the neighbors'.

Everything was great. Communication, friendliness and accomodations were fantastic! I did not have the opportunity to meet Janet since my sister picked up the keys but she always responded right away by email or phone to any questions I had. We would definitely would use you guys again and would stay @ 154 Ocean View in a heartbeat! ( I wish it was our own place.)

I had a horrible experience with the Horseback Riding Stables!!! They never returned my calls to make a reservation...and when we actually went there to see what was going on...The horses were NOT taken care of properly (I have horses) and when I asked for assistance the older man(possible owner) that I spoke to was so rude to us and totally disrespected us, didn't give a sh** about anything except to make money off his horses and the already scheduled customer's.. I will be sending them a e-mail as well!!! **** GREAT time on the hummer ride**** Larry and his wife were awesome and we shared our experience to everyone we met in town that was visiting and told them they had to do it!!!! They were great genuine bussiness owners!!! I look forward to coming back soon, and will be using your service again!! 253 Park, was really nice...Just wanted to advise you of the few things that could be improved :)

Other than the few things that I mentioned everything was good. We had a wonderful time, your staff is extremely friendly to deal with and when I asked for a blender you had it there right away. Thank you and I will mention you people to anyone else that asks about rental properties.

All comments and suggestions are listed above and left during my check-out on April 11. I was very satisfied with everything and look forward to exceeding that when all the repairs are done.

The staff at Beachbum Rentals were very accomadating and did their best to solve any problems that arose. I look forward to seeing them again next winter.

I would like to see a noon check out time, and I would like to have a key drop box in the parking garage area. If you had coupons for local restaurants and items at stores, we would have used them and had a recommended place to go for things in the vicinity.

It would be nice to have a barbecue, beach towels and chairs.

The condo was better than expected. We were very pleased with everything. Thank you so much! We will definately be back for another trip.

Couldn't find kleenex tissues in the property. There was a slight smoke smell in the property when we initially arrived. Once the doors were opened, etc. the smell dissipated. The location and amenities worked out very well for us. Thank you.

VERY difficult to use the "code" for the front gate. In fact, 4 of us couldn't get it to work. Found a way around it to let our visitors in. We had a large wedding party going and coming. Because there is no cell service for Verizon customers in the Avila complex..it was difficult to have guests contact us to open the gate. Also, the back bedrooms faced the Custom House, their garbage cans etc. The workers at the custom house were loud until after midnight,and earley in the morning. When we come again....and I know we will, we will rent a "front" unit.

Everything was great, except for the phone calls stating we were being loud, which was completely untrue. It put me on edge(not able to relax) for the weekend.

Just wish the home owners would have been more adaptable. They need to realize that we, as renters, are people also. They could have handled the last few days differently in our opinion. Too bad they couldn't make up their minds when we asked to extend our rental coming this fall. We loved the location. We will use Beach Bums for future vacation rentals.

Fireplace glass is VERY hot - I would suggest a better warning sign.

This was our first condo experience--it was quite pleasant! Suggest at least one hook be installed on the inside of bath door downstairs. The lamp/bulb was missing inside the refrigerator(not a big deal when the kit.overhead light was on. Recommend replacing the corroded alum. ice trays with sectioned plastic ones. Our family guests were favorably impressed with the accomodations--THANKS!

We loved the place with the exception of sparse kitchen and no music. We were a bit surprised that there were no beach towells that came with the house. You should encourage people to bring their own on web site. The office was very easy to work with and web site user friendly. Thanks. Hope we can come back soon!

Property was pricey, but good location. I had disappointed travelers that wanted to watch some of the NBA playoffs and there was no cable. Your neighbor La Fonda has a great Costco rate - but your place worked well for our family of 4. Often when we stay at La Fonda there are 2 or 3 of us. Master bed was very comfortable and it was great having a washer and dryer. We have stayed in Avilla 5 times in the past year - we have a student at Cal Poly. Please keep me posted of any "specials" you many have and we will be back if the price is right. Thank you. Jeanne

We had a wonderful time with my 83 yr. old parents. When I returned the keys I did mention the confusion on the parking. I didn't realize the property was gated, therefore it was difficult to find at 11 at night! Once we got in I thought the remote was for the 1 car garage, which wouldn't open. Found out the next day there is no garage with the property and only a parking space under the carport. The 4 spaces were all taken, and when housekeeping brought the coffee pot, they also brought a parking pass. I think the parking situation along with a parking pass is important to have in the information when you pick up the key. Other than that.....we had a fabulous time! The only recommendation would be to have extra blankets in the house. There was nothing for the sofa bed. Besides that everything was great

The location and unit were both great.

This property definitely exceeded our expectations. The place was pristine and very comfortable. It really added to the enjoyment of our little family getaway. The only very slight negative was the gate remote was not provided in the envelope with the house keys so we had to spend about 30 mins figuring it out and getting the access code. Again, not a big deal! We plan on making this an annual vacation spot. Thanks for everything!

Sorry we did not know about the useage on the roof. We did not know about the local politics regarding the roof area. It is beautiful up there on a perfect day, and we couldn't stay inside! We had some family over that was staying in the Lighthouse Suites, and they enjoyed the view too. Also, we had a hard time finding exactly where to put the trash. The directions in the book were not that clear.Everything else was great! Hope to return soon.

I really enjoyed working with the people at Beach Bum. We were supposed to stay somewhere else but couldnt because of a flood. We were placed at 206 Stimson and the place was great.

The only thing I can suggest is to have maybe a couple of plug-in air freshners to take care of the initial musty smell. Other than that, the place was great. It was an excellent location. I already recommended it to some of my friends and relatives.

This was the perfect vacation-thanks to your accommodations. This is the first time my family has used the "vacation rental" idea instead of a motel/hotel stay and I have sold them on the idea for other vacations. Unfortunately, since my daughter graduated from Cal Poly during this stay we will probably not be coming back to your area soon, but I certainly pass your web site on to others that might be interested in CA travel. Landline telephone number for property and wireless internet access code should have been included in welcome packet. It would have saved some phone calls to your office, since I just missed closing time on arrival day
